Question Used controllers not working at all

Before I begin, yes I shouldn't have bought a used controller, however I don't have money and I don't want to pay full price for a PS4 controller when people are selling them. However we did buy 2, one for me and my sibling. When we went to pick it up, both of them were shown working. They were in very good condition, like new and were original, but we were told that they need charging. I plugged it into my pc and there was no response, tested many micro usb cables and none work at all, for both of the controllers. They computer does not recognise it as a plugged in USB device and if i try to charge it, it simply won't have any response. Tried resetting it, still no response. Is there any way to fix this issue? I understand its used but I had evidence of them working. Thanks!

is this your 1st ps4 controller on pc?

did u install the software used for ps4 controllers on pc? DS4. If not, download the latest version and try again. https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases

yes i did however there is no response, no light and I did check ds4 but it doesn't detect the controller
