$650 does this seem fair, seems fair to me but I don't watch that closely. pcpartpicker quoted 975 w/o the os and the keyboard mouse and monitor.
Thanks

This is the agreed upon price it was originally a little higher, im def a lil sketch about buying used. The seller offered to send a vid of it running prime 95 and furmark, seems willing to proves that its in good shape. im not hip to these programs though other than hearing the names. any advise as to what stats to look for from them?

I feel the same which is why I told them no thanks for the video, I was going to ask them run the same thing in person. Basically im wondering if everything looks clean and taken care of, it runs a variety of games well and undergoes this benchmark sw without hiccup is it a safe thing to do?

If it includes the above parts list, for $650....sounds like a good deal.
Does this include the OS? If so, be sure you get the install media AND the actual license key. The seller is required per the licensing agreement to give it to you.
If he balks at that, knock $50 off.

When you get it home, the first thing you do is wipe the drive and reinstall the OS. This goes for any second hand device. You never know what is in there.
But be prepared to buy your own OS, just in case what he gives you is bogus.

Yes it include all parts and OS, it is my understanding that formatting the drives will wipe all the info bad and good off? I have a number of Microsoft ISO files with keys for school, could these be used in the case that the OS is not genuine? Any other things i could do on the spot to further test the machines integrity?
