Hi - I'm a novice and I'm looking to get some opinions/help.
I've recently built my first PC (Ryzen) and bought a used RX 480 Nitro+ 8gb on Amazon. I'm currently going through tests and I'm having issues with this card and I'm not sure what to do - should i return it or install something specific or ....?
These are the tests i've done so far:
- 3d Mark - failed to even run
- Heaven - has artifices (blue flashing here and there). Even noticed the occasional artifices when using trixx 3.0.
- Doom demo - the game gets launched at a lower resolution (can't properly read the lettering) and it crashes everytime at the same place when running the campaign, 2 seconds in.
I've tried this on my current old 720p monitor (via a vga to DP converter) and I've tried this on my 1080p TV via HDMI with similar results. I've installed all the latest drivers and tried underclocking to 1200 via Trixx3.0 but nothing seems to work. Should I just give up and return the item? I won't get a replacement as this was bought used and I really got a good deal out of it 🙁 .
Thanks
