[SOLVED] Used gtx 1070 or new rx 580

Hello everyone, i'm going to buy used pc ,it comes without gpu and I want to buy a gpu I can get a used gtx 1070 still have 2 years warranty or a new rx 580 8gb + 16gb ddr3 ram , both the same price
Pc specs :
Cpu : i7 3770k
Ram 4gb ( need to upgrade )
No gpu
1tb hdd
The cost of the pc is around $300
Note : the rx 580 will come with 2 free games 😉

All 3 of my RX580's had to be RMA'd for various issues. My 1070 Gigabyte is still running smooth.
All were purchased new , no mining or OC.

What monitor do you have? If you are going to be playing on a 60hz panel, then you might as well go with the 580 and the free games because the 580 is all you need for 60hz. But if you have a 144hz panel, then you will need the 1070 to take advantage of the extra hz.

I was happy with my 580's till they started failing. Great cards when they are running.

As long as the used 1070 wasn't used for mining it will be your best bet. I went from a new rx480 to a used strix 1070, paying almost the same, but getting twice the frame rate. a 580 is enough if you just want to play high settings 1080p, but a 1070 will future proof for 144hz or 1440p gaming
