Used Mining RX 580 for $170 or New for $240 w/ $20 rebate?

Is it worth buying a used RX 580 (MSI RX 580 Gaming X 8GB) or spend a little more and go for the new card? (MSI RX 580 ARMOR OC)

I don't mind spending the extra money for the new card, but If I've always wanted the Gaming X card so If I could get this with little consequence I wouldn't mind getting it used.

It was modified for etherium mining, but I'm not sure how that mining would affect gaming.
The listing states:
"MSI Gaming X - RX 580 8G - 31MHS Modded for Ether."
and:
"Actual, original stock bios and flashing utility can be provided via email or I will re-load before shipping for an additional $10."

This is my second time buying a GPU and I've never bought used so I'm unsure of whether or not I should take this route.

I'd spend the extra and get the new card with warranty, you have no idea how long a mining GPU will last.

Ended up getting a GTX 1070 Gaming X for a little under $280, not used for mining either
