I work for a small online retailer. We use three computers as shipping stations and for general use when not shipping. Almost everything we do is web based and excel. Our E6600 machines running windows XP are showing their age. Building products usually has multiple tabs open in a browser and they get bogged down at times. We run dual monitors.
I'm looking for advise on what my best bang for buck on used machines might be and what some good sources might be. We might go up to 5 machines total in the warehouse. 2nd gen i3s based systems? Maybe something I can under-clock with a low thermal design. We are in the southeast so we get into the 90s in the summer. We are currently wireless but I hope to soon run cat5/6 to their area when I can get a bit cooler weather.
