Hello,

I'm debating between buying a new GTX 1060 Mini 3GB for $277 CAD after tax, or a used RX 480 4GB for $240 CAD.

For the RX 480, the seller claims its been owned for less than a year, never been overclocked, and used only for light gaming in the weekends.

They don't have a receipt to provide, and they aren't comfortable with me coming over to see it working, they said they can either send me a video showing that it works, along with the serial code, or to meet up at a local computer store and see if they can plug it in and test it for us.

What do you guys think? If I go for the RX 480, what should I request to be tested (either on video or at a computer store) without being too intrusive?

Thanks

I would get the GTX 1060 3GB if you game at 1080p/60Hz or less. This is a tiny bit dated game-wise, but still relevant IMO. The 1060 3GB is better in most non-DX12 and Vulkan games, which is still most games.
