I just finished building a new computer and after building it I used a USB to download Windows 10 on it. For some reason, I am unable to connect a wireless connection since it only asks for a wired ethernet connection. Is there any fixes for this or do I have to connect an ethernet cable?

Did you already have an OS on the PC before downloading Windows 10? If not, I don't see why or how you are downloading windows. If you used the media creation tool to create a boot USB, it won't require internet to install windows.
Unless you have a wireless card or your motherboard has built in wireless you have to use ethernet.
If you don't have the proper drivers for wireless or ethernet adapters, you won't be able to use internet at all.
