Thank you my friend, this has solved the problem when I leave the
computer for a while- but I still get the welcome screen when I
boot-up?..

Anyone any suggestions?..

Hi go into user accounts in the control panel under start settings control
panel and when in user accounts click on change way users log on and off and
uncheck both options and click on apply options. This will fix your problem
ok thanks.
