Question User Benchmark Performing way below expectations. Nvidia GTX 1060 32% below average. How to improve results?

Processor is also underperforming, but the GPU has more problems I think.

Some games perform well but others just dont get 60FPS at low-medium settings.

It is only a few weeks used.

Please help.

Is your LAPTOP overheating by any chance ? Try doing a clean re-install of the GPU drivers. Also, do a fresh OS install, if need be.

Yes, when I play some games it heats over 80-90º. And reviews say that my Laptop (Asus TUF FX504GM) tends to overheat.

I heard of DUU for reinstalling the GPU drivers. Im gonna do it right now.

I will try reinstalling Windows too. I havent activated windows yet, may it have been a problem?

Okay. What did you do actually ? Reduced the TEMP values of your Laptop model ?

I did the DDU.

I installed a program which enabled me to max the fans.

And I also put the maximum performace box on the battery settings.

FPS boosted a lot.

Ah, and I also installed Nvidia drivers on the SSD instead of the HDD.
