I regularly type in google xxx part VS xxx part
in order to get a quick glance on how two parts performs. it's higly usefull in sutuation when you want a comparaison accross several generations
The website "userbenchmark.com" ALWAYS returns on top of the google search
Unitil now, i only quickly checked the specs (green bars) in the bottom of the page to get a quick glance at the performance.
I never actualy read the review in the bottom of the page.
Well it's hilarious. Shocking but hilarious. they are CLEARLY get paid by nvidia/intel, or this website has been set by a complete fanboy
just check this review of the RTX3050
I guess it was written during the great GPU drought of 2020-2021, but still, advocating a 600$ scalped RTX3050 takes some guts
He admits that the RX6500 XT is a better buy, but the rest of the review of the 3050 is AMD bashing : "Many experienced users simply have no interest in buying AMD card, regardless of price. AMD's neanderthal marketing tactics seem to have come back to haunt them (etc..)"
And for all the AMD cards it's just bashing:
"AMD appear to have very short term marketing strategists at the helm, they seem more concerned with this years bonuses than the longevity of the brand"
I could post more exemples but they are all the same. most of the AMD reviews are just a copy/paste anyways.
such behavior should be widely known, i hope major yt channels like gamer nexus or LTT will talk about this. I mean UBM presents itself as a reliable source of information, while it discredits this activity. Steve Burke from GN takes pride in his work of journalist so i'm sure that he would dislike this.
