Hello everyone.

Please, I would like to make a question.
Suppose on a company's domain, we have a Windows 10 pc. Username is test1 and domain is e.g. @sun.com
So, specific user, has mail box with mail account test1@sun.com

Is it possible Windows username login password to make it different from mail account password? To make two passwords independent from each other?

If yes, it depends from the versions of Active Directory, Exchange Server or Postfix versions, etc? It depends from something else?

Thank you.

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your reply. I would like to inform that it's not about classwork. It's about something happened on the company I work in, and is something that on networking field is the first time I see. And because I am always interested in finding solutions on new things I get faced with, and for knowledge expansion, this is the reason I asked the question.

With your reply, you covered me 100% .

Thank you.
