Hey guys- long story short I've ended up with two NVIDIA 760's and a crossfire board. I've tried the hack to get SLI to work anyway, but it wouldn't work for me 🙁
I'm wondering what I should do with this other card. Gaming is the primary function of this system, and EVE online is my primary game- often I run two clients at once over two monitors. If I install both GPU's and plug in a different monitor to each, will each GPU be responsible for rendering what is on it's corresponding monitor?
Also, I before I realized I was on a crossfire only board, I had both 760s plugged in with the bridge on, and I was experiencing occasional errors (the nvidia driver has stopped responding but has recovered). Is it possible this had something to do with those errors?
Finally, I'd like to test each one of these cards to see if one is possibly going bad and might be responsible for the SLI on xfire hack not working as well as possibly causing my errors. What would be the best way to do that? Plug in one at a time and run furmark? Do I have to reinstall drivers each time I change the card (they are both 760s, but from different manufacturers)?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks for reading!
