Uses of networking

in educational wise what are the benefits of networking and is there growth in that

Networking as in how? As in like IT or as in networking and getting to know new people?

As far as IT, IT is getting bigger, and with all the devices going online, it should grow for a while. People always want to do more with many different things. And all of those devices need to talk to one another.

As far as getting business contacts, that can be very helpful in job searches, business ventures, etc. I am finding as I get older, who you know matters almost as much as what you know. Both IT jobs I've had, I have gotten because I was blessed to have met someone, or someone I met told me about those positions. Otherwise I may not have even known these positions were even available unless I'd been blessed enough to have known someone.
