using 1.6 fan on a 2.4!!

Quik question----will I encounter any problems with this:using stock hsf off a P4--1.6, on my P4--2.4a. The reason being, is that the 1.6 fan spins at 2800-2900rpm. The 2.4a stock hsf runs at 2300-2400. Idle temps. on proc.=36c and 46-48 under load. With the 2.4 hsf , idle temps. were between 38-40c. ,and under load were 52-54c. Is this ok, or is this(fan) going to burn out sooner than it should? I can't see any problems with this----does anyone else? (Actually, proc. is o/c ed to 2.8 and running very stable!!) thxxxx

im pretty sure its the same heatsink+fan combo on all up till 3.06ghz

There is two kinds of Intel Northwood boxed heatsynks, one is for 2.26GHz or less and the other is for 2.4 and UP!
