Question Using 1 GTX1080 GPU in Bottom PCIE slot for ASUS STRIX ROG X570-E

Hello, thinking about upgrading my rig with a new motherboard and I was wondering if the mobo I am looking at has any difference between the top and bottom PCIE slot for my GPU. I would prefer to plug it into the bottom slot but I don't want to lose any performance whatsoever. Anyone know if this is viable?

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1080 8GB FOUNDERS EDITION
MOTHERBOARD: ROG STRIX X-570-E

At the bottom slot it works as x4 not x16 not recommended for a graphic card.

Have just checked at the mobo's manual.
