using 1600 mhz at mobo that support 1333mhz and 2200(OC)

is it possible to run my ram at full speed at mobo that only support up to 1333mhz and 2200(OC)?

that mean it supports all the way up to 2200mhz not only 1333 and 2200 . practically most ram modules above 1333mhz are overclocked modules that can ran at the specified speed through xmp (you must have an ivy bridger cpu for xmp as mobo vendor states) or manually set the Mhz speed and CL timings!

Let us know what CPU if any problems, but simply go into BIOS enable XMP and select Profile 1, the BIOS will set the sticks up for you (might make sure you have the latest BIOS 😉 )

Should run 1600, might need about + 0.06 to DRAM voltage, but try them at stock initially 😉
