This might be a stupid question, but is it possible to have a 'AMD Radeon R9 270' with an Nvidia GeForce (any model)? If so, is there any downside to it? The purpose of having two Graphics card is for Nvdia's Physx driver.
No it's not possible. If you were gonna use 2 GPUs, they need to be the same. E.g. two R9 270s, you can't have an R9 270 and a 280. As long as they're the same model, they will work, you can have different manufacturers (Asus/MSI).
