hello
a few days ago i encountered a hardware issue that im still trying to solve, i wish to know if this is just my PSU dying on me or i loaded too much on him.
for this i with to use a different PSU to run my GPU only [for testing] and the original one to run the rest of the pc.
can it be done with 2 PSUs?
if the second PSU connected only to the GPU, will it still work?

thanks

Solution
if the other power supply has the right power plugs you can do it. you have to jumper the power supply to think it connected to the mb. (green wire.) make sure you turn the gpu power supply on first then the mb so the gpu wont pull to much power from the mb.
