have 2 wireless adapters installed on a windows 8.1 machine (1 internal and 1 USB).
my internet access is through a public network that does not allow printers to be connected. So instead of having a “network printer”, the purpose of the second adapter is to allow that adapter to connect to an HP “wireless direct” printer network so I can print.
my computer recognizes 2 wireless networks. . no matter what I do, both adapters will connect to the most recent network I connect to....thus I can either print or get internet access, but not both at the same time.
is there a way to have one adapter always connect to the HP printer “wireless direct” network and the second adapter to always connect to router for internet access -(landlord policy does not allow printers to connect to the building network).
