Hello

It seems like a dumb question but please hear me out.
My GTX 1060 finally rested after 4 years of service and I'm planning to get a new RTX 3050. the specs here says Recommended PSU: 450W but I'm not sure if it's 450W alone for GPU or for the overall system that's why I'm hesitating if my current M12ii 520W will be enough.
Here's my build
R5 2600 with 240 AIO Liquid Cooling
B450 AORUS ELITE
2x8GB Kingston Hyper Beast 3200Mhz
500GB NVMe M.2 Storage
M12ii 520W PSU
3x 120mm System Fan

Thank you so much

Solution
Should be fine.

RTX3050 has a TDP of 130W.
Your R5-2600 probably in the neighborhood of 65-90W.
Misc components say....30-40W.

In my experience, if you set GPU power limit (MSI afterburner or equiv.) to ~80%, you sacrifice little/no performance but save some power/heat/noise. Couple that with a +130-150MHz core clock offset (essentially an undervolt) and you're probably back to stock performance.
