Using 64 bit disk on 32 bit laptop?

Hi, I Bought the windows 8 disks a while back, and I was wanting to reinstall it on my laptop. I Had to factory reset it after it crashed, and my 32 Bit disk is completely ruined, Like cracked bad and it won't read it, so all i have is my 64 bit disk. is it possible for me to use the 64 bit disk to reinstall windows 8 on my 32 bit Acer? If not, How else can i go about getting windows 8 again.
I've tried getting it from windows, but it won't let me get the "Free Upgrade" cause my computer, sadly, is originally Vista.

Are you sure? I've looked up the bit systems before and It's not easy to convert them or whatever.

How would i go about doing that??
