Hey everyone,

My friend is looking to buy ZOTAC 5070ti SOLID OC that comes with a 3x8-pin-to-12VHPWR adapter, but his PSU ( Corsair CX750F) only has two dedicated 8-pin PCIe connectors.

The Question:
Is it safe to use one direct 8-pin cable + one daisy-chained 8-pin (from the same cable) to fill all three slots on the adapter?

You should be fine though out of curiosity, how old is the Corsair CX750F RGB in your system and what GPU did it power prior to today?

IMHO, I would've paired a higher quality, higher wattage PSU with that GPU.
Thank you - he bought it when I assembled my rig. only 2 years ago- It hasn't worked so much since he is busy and only plays games at night. Out of curiosity how is this connector? does it work?

Yeah but he is on a budget now. 750w is the recommended PSU and his CPU is i5 13400f, so it is not that power hungry
