I have an old N470GTX GPU I need to test for any sign of life and was wondering if an oem Dell or HP PSU would work just for that sole purpose, and that's it. It does have the necessary 2 6 pin pci-e power connections. If I remember correctly the 3 12v rails are 18, 16, and 8. Thanks for any help.

The GTX 470 actually requires a min high quality 550 Watts PSU, with a combined +12 Volt current rating of 38 Amps. And two available 6-pin PCI-E power connectors.

Can you post a picture/photo of your current OEM PSU ? Especially the PSU's LABEL/sticker.
