Using a 48 in 4K TV as a monitor. Some the apps I use look small any way to change the size?

So I am using a 4K TV as monitor. And it's been great so far. But I have one problem. Some of the apps I use are scaled to small. Like for instance if I use winzip or the dreaded Uplay the text is very tiny. Would anyone have any solutions that would help?

I am also using a 4k 55"in LG tv as a monitor your going to have to just deal with it bro it sucks i know lol But best part is being able to game from your bed

I know I'm using in my Den. I'm gonna keep search there has to be solution as some many users are using TV especially with steam box lol

I use a 4k monitor and have yet to find a real solution. You can try zooming in but other than that all i can say is get used to it. It was annoying at first but after a while i have no problem reading text on a 4k screen. But to be fair mine is a 28inch screen and im about a foot away.
