Using a 500W PSU as a temporary replacement for an 850W PSU

Hi there, the PSU in my rig unfortunately failed and I have a question about the one I'm using as a temporary substitute. So my specs are an i5-8600k, GTX 1060 6GB, 8GB RAM and ASUS TUF Z370 Pro Gaming motherboard. Can my 500W PSU hold up while I wait of my new PSU to arrive?

A 500W PSU...doesn't tell us anything without the make and model.

If it's good quality, then that's no problem at all. Your system pulls about 250W under load (if no OC)
