I have a standard canon4000 installed on a pc. I want to be able to print
cds/photos etc from another pc on my network.

Ive shared out the printer and added it to the other pc successfully but how
can i get access to all the software/options available on the main pc as the
network pc seems to have limited configurable options or is it not possible?

Install the Canon print driver on the other PC. Each driver's print
settings on each PC work independently of each other. The network can
be either cat5 or wireless.

Mike,
You will need to install the cd/photo software onto the networked computer
also.

For those using All-in-One Printers, be aware some of the unit's functions
are not network compatible, such as the unit's scanning function. You may
need to scan, using the PC connected to the All-in-One, then transfer the
files to the PC, that you want to edit with.
