Hello everyone. I have an HD7950 which I use for a single monitor setup. I've decided to add my old HD4850 back in to my system to add more dvi ports so I can use 2 monitors but the ports on the 4850 does not seem to be working. I've tried both monitors on the 7950 and they both worked. 1 of the monitors has 1080p, and the other is only 1280x1024 I was just wondering if there is anything i can do to make this work, or does this kind of setup really not work in general? any help would be appreciated :D thanks in advance

Solution
Probably not going to work as you would likely have a driver conflict between the HD4XXX and HD7XXX series cards. You should be able to use multiple ports from the HD7950 without issue.
