Okay, so this is my first attempt at upgrading a PC in probably 15 years, easily, so apologies now for that!

I bought an older GeForce GTX 690, as it's the one Nvidia specifically recommended to me for my current MoBo. However, I already have a MoBo with an integrated graphics card. I also got an upgraded power supply that will be going in with it.

What do I need to do so that the GPU is going to be used, while disabiling the integrated one? I'm hoping that frees up some of the board's FPS issues and limitations on the CPU, as well, so it isn't so overworked playing my games of Stellaris!

Current Specs -
Mobo - MSI 760gma-p34 fx
CPU - AMD FX 6300 six-core Vishera
RAM - 16 GB (2x Crucial 8GB Single DDR3L 1600 MT/s (PC3L-12800) Unbuffered UDIMM Memory)
Windows 10
One Internal HD and One DVD RW drive

That part I get. What I’m wondering is - how do I disable the integrated graphics card on the MoBo so I’m not using both? Or would it even use it if I’m not drawing the monitor power from it?
