[SOLVED] Using a monitor as TV

Hi everyone!
I really need your advice on what I'm sure is not a very smart question.
I've already an ASUS VG245H monitor and in the near future I have to buy another one because of my work, but I'd also like to buy a TV for my computer room. So I was wondering if it could be a good idea to buy only the monitor and use it also as TV and then switch it back to monitor when I need it.
Is it plausible? Or it would be too much complicate and tiresome to use the monitor this way?

Computer monitors do not have a TV tuner, nor do they have an aerial/antenna input.
So you will find it quite challenging to use a monitor as a TV unless you plan to install a TV tuner card in your PC.

You could buy a Roku for it and use that to watch TV on the monitor
