So I've recently decided to do an upgrade to my Pc's storage. I'm planning on adding a 250gb m.2 nvme ssd(found one for really cheap) and a 2tb hard drive. I'm going to put my OS and all my frequently used programs on the nvme ssd and use the HDD for mass storage.I currently have a 120gb ssd which is used as my primary drive. Would it be possible to use my current SSD to accelerate the hard drive in the system along side my os being on the nvme drive? I've looked into intel rapid store but none of the tutorials i've seen answer if a second SSD can accelerate a drive. If anyone can help me answer this so i can set it up as soon as my new drives arrive that would be great.

For a mass storage drive, that would be mostly useless...

For a mass storage drive, that would be mostly useless.
Generally, you're not accessing the same data all the time. In which case it would be read off the spinning platter anyway.
And writes are always to the platter first.
