I currently have a 2 monitor setup and im going to purchase a WII U soon. I would like to use the TV as a third monitor by plugging it into the HDMI port here http://i.imgur.com/nhS3Dim.jpg
the card is a 7950

Would this work? Also would having this hinder gaming preformance if im only playing a game on one montor? Also how should I go about picking the resolution of the TV?

Thanks!

As long as you have the connections on the Video Card you will be able to use the TV as a 3rd monitor. I currently have a 47" as my 2nd display on my computer. If you have all 3 monitors up and running during games it WILL take a little bit of a performance hit. Even if there is nothing but the background on those other 2 screens, the GPU will still have to draw them. How much of a performance hit really depends on your system.
