Hi,
I'm moving from the UK to the US soon, I will be buying a US playstation 2
when I get there, but taking all my UK games with me. I will be buying one
of those "slide card" devices and dvd to be able to play import games on the
US playstation, so I can play my UK games.

Can you tell me, if these will be outputted in PAL, or NTSC? Will the TV I
have in the US need to support PAL to be able to play these UK games?

I would assume that the US system would output them all in NTSC.. but not
sure.

Thanks for any help,
Daniel

The easiest way would be to just bring your old PS2 with you, as for the
PAL/NTSC thing, I have no idea. Those slide cards look like a PITA to use.

Doesn't matter as long as you use RGB or SVideo on a compatible television.

The easiest option would be to buy a chipped US PS2 which would then allow
online play of US games.

True, but finding a dual-standard TV in the US is difficult to say the
least. You can find PAL/NTSC convertors, but I've heard they're a little
expensive. Might be worth your while to bring your TV (if it's
dual-standard)
