I have an HP pavilion 500 - 027c desktop computer, running Windows 8.1. I'd like to add an ssd drive as my boot drive. I have a ghost image of my C drive loaded on the ssd. Does anyone see any problems with this scenario? Will windows see the new ssd drive and get hung up on of the transferred image? My plan was to install the ssd and temporarily unplug the current c (hdd) drive. Boot to the ssd and then add the hdd back, after successfully booting to the new sad with the ghost image.
