I am planning on upgrading my graphics card to something like a 780 and was wondering if I should keep my old 760 to dedicate to physics (not in SLI). Would this work?

Solution
Yeah it would, but I wouldn't recommend it:

1. Hardly any games use PhysX so having the gtx 760 pumping out heat and wasting energy is kind of a waste.
2. I've heard that most of the time a discrete physX card can actually DROP the frame rate more than without it.
