I have this old Windows XP machine that hasn't been used in years, and I want to ask if it would be possible to use its hard drive in my new machine (Windows 10 Pro)

As a secondary drive, sure. If it still works, and is a SATA drive.

Don't try to boot from it and run the XP OS on it.

What specific make/model drive is it?

If it is old PATA drive, then you'll need PCIE PATA adapter card.
