using an ssd

I have an ssd already with my os on it. i'm wanting to add a second ssd for my games and such, but my pc isnt registering the new ssd. what do i need to do to make it work

Does it show in the BIOS? If so, you might have to go at adminstrative tools, COmputer Management, Storage/DIsk Management to quick format the drive for use...

Does it appear in Disk Management?
It may need to be Initialized.
The New Simple Volume, Format, and give it a drive letter.
