Using another Graphics card for extra monitors

So I currently have a GTX 960 with 2 monitors and I was wondering if I could use my old HD 5770 to run 2 more since I currently dont have the displayport adapters I know I can buy 2 for like 10 bucks but I just wanna know if i can do this also.

I am pretty sure it will work. After installing the new card with the new driver from AMD, just use the Display window to adjust how multiple displays should work.

You will not be able to run two additional monitors on that secondary card. You would only be able to this with SLI.

That card will not work alongside a GTX960 as they are completely different architectures. You would require a second 5770 with the current 5770 or else a second GTX 960 to run all four monitors.
