Using blow dryer to clean out dust

My sister has this Hot/Cold (low/high setting) hair dryer and i am planning to use that to blow out the dust off my pc components. Basically taking it all apart and cleaning each component. Is it ideal to use the blow dryer?

I wouldn't as, like a vacuum, they generate static electricity. I use my air compressor to blow out the dust, using short bursts so no moisture from the tank comes out. You can also buy cans of compressed air, but an air compressor is more economical if you have one already.
