using cable for internet 5GHz or 2.4GHz?

am using asus ac something it has 2 connections one is 5ghz and other is 2.4ghz when am using the internet cable connecting it to router which Ghz am i using????!?! help

5GHz and 2.4GHz refers to wireless network. If you are using cable you use neither of that, but all of your connections cable, 5.0 GHz and 2.4 GHz are all on same network, so any device connected through cable or wireless will be still in same network.
