Question Using DDU on a new GPU

So I did some dumb stuff:

I put my new RX 7800 XT in my computer and I followed some steps of a tutorial about using DDU Uninstaller. So right now I am in the middle of deinstalling my brand new GPU. So obviously I did not get the part that I am supposed to do the steps to my old GPU (which is already gone) and that I am uninstalling stuff of my new GPU. Will it affect my new GPU in bad way if I finish the process?
Right now after I downloaded the AMD Driver, I am in safe mode and checked some boxes about what I want to uninstall. I closed the window and selected “GPU” as an option. So now now I am supposed to click an option how I want to continue: Clean and Restart, Clean and do NOT restart, Clean and Shutdown.
So before you shame me: Do you got any advice or can I just uninstall stuff and reinstall the drivers?

Ideally, you run DDU prior to swapping GPU's to the new one. In your case, you just run DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, Nvidia and AMD) then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from AMD's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

What is the make, model and age of your PSU? What GPU were you on prior to the swap?

As @Lutfij suggested, with the new GPU run DDU on all manufacturers, so Intel, AMD, nVidia in safe mode. Once done, reboot, install the GPU driver with admin, and do a clean and restart. Away you go.

What is the make, model and age of your PSU? What GPU were you on prior to the swap?

Okay so I click the option “Remove “C:\AMD” driver folders”?
The PSU is the 850 Watt be quiet ! Pure Power 12 M Modular 80+ Gold. I got it two months ago, as everything else. Before I had the RX 6750 XT but it had coil whining and I wanted something better so I got the money back.

As CPU I got an AMD product. Should still check all the boxes for removing AMD related files? The video I saw said explicitly that one shouldn’t tick the AMD related boxes but all NVIDIA and INTEL related boxes.

Well, there will be the previous driver for the 6750xt, that should work with the new GPU as it will be the same driver. However, for the sake of completeness and making sure you do it correctly, I'd suggest uninstalling the GPU portions on the AMD choices. Then reboot, and do fresh install.

Alright, thank you very much. The video also said to tick the option “Prevent downloads of drivers from “windows update” when “windows” search for a driver for a device.” Won’t it cause trouble as I won’t have any driver as I restart?

You will still have Microsoft basic driver that is built into Windows kernel which runs during windows BOOT anyway but this only prevents installation of drivers from MS driver base over internet which are usually several versions old and not as comprehensive as those from AMD. You get same effect by not having internet connection until you install drivers manually. AMD Adrenalin drivers can also uninstall older AMD drivers if you choose clean installation without keeping old drivers and settings but it can't uninstall Nvidia or Intel drivers.
