Discussion Using DDU

The title says it all. Do you use Display Driver Uninstaller every time you update your drivers? I personally have, but I'm still not sure if it is any different than just checking the "clean install" box, which I have done for years prior to finding out about DDU.
 
Screen tearing is probably related to the amount of FPS your graphics card is putting out vs the refresh rate of your monitor. If your graphics is putting out 100 fps, and your monitor is only 60 hz, you will have tearing. Simple way to solve this is turn on vsync (Vertical sync). This locks the framerates to the monitor.
