Using different Directx

How are you

My question is

Even though i have windows 10
and im running i think directx 11/12

Can i download directx 7 onto my PC via installation

Without ruining the natural directx12/11 features windows 10 is suppose to have?

I have a program that runs perfectly on directx 7 but not on my version of directx

I appreciate any help or suggestions

each version is a separate thing from the others. so having more than one version is not a problem at all. if you play a lot of games you probably already have at least 3 versions so one more won't hurt
