Hello i have an old p75 mb pc which i want to upgrade so currently i have 1 8gb ram stick on it and am trying to find another 8gb ram stick for it but many people told me to use the same brand and every thing to be 100% compatiable the ram that i have is
KHX16C10B1R/8
8GB 1G x 64-Bit DDR3-1600
CL10 240-Pin DIMM
its a hyperx red series which is something i havent found yet the only thing i found was model that has every thing the same apart from the voltage which is 1.65 and mine is 1.5
so can i use hyperx fury models since they are more popular and can be found anywhere or there will be some issues with the timing and compatibilty stuff sorry for my enlgish am not a native speaker thanks.

Solution
hyperx ram's chip AFAIK is sk-hynix 1.65v type, if your mobo support 1.65 vdimm there should be no problem, however, BIOS wlll use lowest SPD speed and highest SPD timing i.e ddr3 1600 cl 8 + ddr3 2133 cl 10 become ddr3 1600 cl 10, you can try set manual speed as in set to 2133 cl 8, save and exit BIOS, if you later on getting stability issue then lower the speed + increase timings
