Using External SSD (TDK 128GB 6GB/s) Instead of the Internal.

Well, i was getting a SSD, and since i'm new in this, i bought an external SSD, is there anyway possible that this SSD may work as an internal SSD for my PC ? I heard it is possible with a USB 3.0 in my motherboard, actually i have a 990FXA-UD3 Motherboard, so can i get the same speed of an internal SSD for my games ?

have you tried to open the external case to see if its just a standard SSD inside? A lot of them are just standard SSD with a small board inside that converts the sata to usb

I will try to see, it is not in my hands now, but seeing it with my father, i think it is hard to open it, nearly impossible, anyway if i fail in opening it, is it possible to use it through the USB 3.0 as an internal SSD without any speed loss ?

usb 3.0 does 5GB/s while your MB has 6 sata 6GB/s ports, most likely you wont be able to tell an speed lose during normal usage.

I'm sorry for late response, i was talking to my father on Skype and the net in his place seems to slow, all i know currently that it is a TDK external 128GB SSD, it is famous actually here it is : http://m.tdkperformance.com/m/Product.aspx?pid=2205&l=en-eu
