so i have been thinking of adding a second ssd into my laptop, my laptop came with an m.2 ssd and for some reason my laptop has enough space for a ssd or hdd. i have done lots of research, and i think i need a flex cable with a sata connector at the end, except all of the flex cables look to big for the "hole". At the end of the post i will paste a link and it will show you the picture of my laptop and the "hole" for the flex cable, if you find any website that has one the same size or if i dont even need a flex cable and i need something else, a reply would be great. :)

You may want to list your laptop brand and model so we can see how you can add a second drive to it. If there is a bay for a second drive there should be a connector there also. The cables used inside laptops are not always standard, you will need to search for something specifically for your laptop.
