Hello!
I have a MSI GTX 1080 graphics card and I want to run 5 monitors on it but not all of them at the same time.
The MSI card has 5 connectors - 3 DP, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI
The Max resolution is 7680 x 4320.
With this resolution it doesn't support 5 monitors (basically only 4 1080p monitors maximum).
However I don't want to run them all at the same time, only either:
2 Monitors
27 inch - 1440p at 144Hz
27 inch - 1080p at 60Hz
Or 3 Monitors:
3x 24 inch - 1080p at 60Hz
Now I was wondering if this would work if I'd disconnect the monitors in the Nvidia controls panel. Would that work without the needing to unplug the monitors from my computer?
Thanks for the help and I wish you a great day!
