Hey guys, I'm quite new to PC building and I got an SSD to boot my windows 10 faster, do I have to remove windows 10 from my old HDD or can I just add another windows to the SSD and make it boot first, that also keeps my HDD files?

Solution
You don't need to . . but it's a lot of clutter. I'd personally recommend doing this as follows:
  1. Back up the files you want to keep from your HDD
  2. Shut down
  3. Disconnect the HDD
  4. Install the SSD
  5. Boot up, and install Windows
  6. Let it do all the updates, and then shut down
  7. Reconnect the HDD
  8. Delete all the partitions on the HDD*, and create one large partition that spans the whole HDD
  9. Copy all the files you backed up in step 1 over to the HDD
* it's possible that Windows Disk Management won't let you delete all the partitions on the HDD - it might try to hold on to one of its small housekeeping partitions from when you were running the OS off of the HDD, so it's possible that you'll need a 3rd party...
