using hipstreet tablet in south africa

my sister in canada sent me a hipstreet equinox2 tablet HS-10TB2-8GB how do i use it in south africa my network service provider said i should insert their sim card (chip) to get connected. where do i put the chip or how do i open the tablet?

From what I can tell, that tablet has no data connection options aside from WiFi.

You can use it online if you are near a WiFi signal, can't use it with a 3G network and such.
