I was just thinking about to use my I7 8700k PC's at 5ghz on coolermaster 600p air cooler I am having a E-SPORTS Cafe usually PC runs for 8 hrs a day will it ok to use

Solution
5GHz should be no issues for daily use provided you have a good CPU cooler and keep temps under 80 degrees C at max load like Prime95 and AIDA64. Gaming tends to put about 50 to 60 degrees C so never an issue.

It would also be good to understand what vcore you are using for your 5GHz overclock as anything over 1.35v is a bit too much for me persoanlly and most people recommend a hard cieling of 1.4v onthe 8700K...Still try to keep vcore at 1.3 to 1.325v and you are good for a long, long time...

I settled on a 1.278v for my 24/7 overclock at 4.9GHz on my 8700K and for 5GHz I needed 1.325v which is more than okay but I am happy with the 4.9GHz at 1.278v...

Solution

The cooler i mention will be good for overclocking i.e COOLERMASTER MA610P

Hi, the Cooler Master cooler is okay but not the best. I think you could aim for 4.8GHz or 4.9GHz at best with that cooler....

Easy way to check if the cooler is up to cooling the 8700K at 5GHz is to run Prime95 version 26.6 blend test and see what temps you reach and whether it is stable at that speed.

Run RealTemp or Hardware Info at the same time to see what temps you reach whilst using Prime95...If the temps are in the 90 degrees, then it is not good enough and you either have to lower the vcore or the speed...or get a better cooler...
